Living a simple existence in Visakhapatnam are Krishna ( Sundeep Kishan) and his father Venkata Ramana (Rao Ramesh). Lack of women in their household drives Krishna to hunt for a bride difficultly.

Every marriage proposal is therefore routinely rejected. Venkata Ramana decides, therefore, to marry first before looking for a wife for his son.

The story progresses as Venkata Ramana meets Yashoda (Anshu Sagar) while Krishna meets Meera (Ritu Varma).

The story revolves mostly on how their lives evolve and the reasons Meera and Yashoda have to meet before they can be married.

The mystery gets more intense when business tycoon Bhargav Varma (Murali Sharma) sets restrictions on Krishna and Venkata Ramana. You will have to view the movie to ascertain how the rest of the story unfolds.

Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina is well-known in all of his films for providing decent entertainment independent of the story. Mazaka is not one exception either.

The comedy in the first half is really strong, and Sundeep Kishan and Rao Ramesh have enough interesting chemistry.

The humorous interactions of these two actors will delight family viewers. Starting with the opening scene, the first section of the narrative is fascinating since it is full of joy.

Some of the turns and feelings fit really well; others som Review of Mazaka movie Trending Tales Hubbe of the comic episodes is excellent. Mazaka’s main appeal is the performance of the four major players.

While Sundeep Kishan dazzles with his charming look and humorous timing, Rao Ramesh jumps out as usual, especially in his depiction of a father who turns into a lover boy in order to secure a marriage for himself and his child. His interaction with Anshu Sagar also injects a little of comedy.

Sundeep Kishan and the remarkable Ritu Varma have a great chemistry.

Their love track in a folk tune is especially beautiful. Manmadhudu’s Anshu Sagar makes a respectable comeback at last, and she performs well, especially in the humorous parts including those involving Rao Ramesh.

Murali Sharma’s character Bhargav Varma also offers a decent Hyper Aadi and Srinivas Reddy raise the fun factor and keep the viewers giggling with their clever timing. A small number of the funny parts in the movie effectively capture the comedy.

Though the film had a good first half, its second half on the entertainment value was not great.

The second half does not satisfy the expectations of the first half. Though there are a few forced or ineffective situations, the second half is mostly boring. Certain funny scenes seem overdone, which makes you not laugh.

The rather overly dramatic moments of Rao Ramesh and Anshu Sagar might not appeal to everyone. Furthermore, occasionally the second half feels monotonous since it looks as though some of the circumstances we have seen before have resurfaced.

Worse further is the fact that Anshu Sagar’s Telugu dubbing does not match her delivery of her language and her character seems odd at times.

The production quality is rather good. Leon James’s music is decent even if the background scores in numerous places might have been better. Nizar Shafi’s cinematography is respectable even if Chota K Prasad’s editing could have been better, especially in the second half where some boring scenes should have been eliminated.

The energetic words of Prasanna Kumar Bezawada fit the humor parts really effectively. The plot is passable.

Though Trinadha Rao Nakkina is a well-known director in Tollywood, in Mazaka he offers a completely developed and entertaining narrative. The second part could have use for development. With exception from Rao Ramesh, the key performers could have done better. The Telugu conversations of Anshu Sagar sound unnatural.

Mazaka has some fun times, particularly when the four primary players are hanging about. After a strong first half, the second half wanders on and loses its entertaining worth. For anyone looking for a cheerful entertainment, the film presents a decent pleasure. Still, a more logical storyline would have made the film much better.
