Rajahmundry: The police are still investigating the mysterious death of prominent preacher Pagadala Praveen Kumar that occurred close to Rajahmundry on the 24th of this month. The police are extremely careful to draw a conclusion in this case, which has become well-known in the state, even if fingers of the investigating officers indicate to an accident.

Police claims they still await the thorough post-mortem, forensic, toxicological, and pathology results. The early post-mortem report revealed facial injuries as well as abrasion wounds on the torso. Following careful investigation, the cops have cleared every passenger in the automobiles.
One of the passengers in the car reportedly observed that Praveen Kumar’s luggage bag was slipping towards the left side. There was gravel in the location the accident happened.
Clearly stating that there is no indication of any foul play, the cops indicated they will decide based on all the reports. One team that asked the relatives and family members clearly that they did not show any uncertainty over one. Nobody knew, except Praveen Kumar’s wife and two others, that the pastor was on that day travelling to Rajahmundry. Recently Praveen Kumar purchased a property close to Rajahmundry to erect a church and paid rent on a house to keep an eye on building activity.
On Saturday, Rajahmundry, Eluru Range Inspector General of Police GVG Ashok Kumar said that as all the inquiry findings are still to surface, police are yet unsure about the cause of death of pastor Praveen Pagadala.
Renowned Christian pastor Pagadala, who preached in the Telugu regions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, was discovered dead under mysterious conditions close to Rajahmundry on March 25.
How can we draw conclusions without obtaining the last post-mortem analysis? One needs to compile a forensic report. Thus, Kumar added, addressing a press conference in East Godavari district, we can only know once we have the whole report.
Not sharing all the results, he pointed out that a “preliminary” post-mortem report verified abrasive injuries on hands and body and lacerated lesions on the face.
He said reports were sent for pathology study to ascertain the type of burn wound on the leg and also forwarded toxicological data to the Forensic Sciences Lab for additional inquiry.
Once we have got these totally accurate reports, we can ascertain his death mechanism. We are also examining technical data, CCTV cameras, cell phone cameras and cell phone analysis,” Kumar added.
Taking Pagadala’s death into serious consideration, he added East Godavari district Superintendent of Police Narasimha Kishore has established a special inquiry team under his direction.
